Sage green, brown and gold walking Santa with staff and large scenic toy bag with birds. A winter village scene with troika is painted on the frond and Santa's fur trim is frosted. This Russian Santa is hand carved from aged solid linden wood, dried for at least 2 years. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and signed by the artist
